Buruji Kashamu (May 19, 1958-August 8, 2020) was a Nigerian politician who
served in the 8th National Assembly as a Senator representing Ogun East.
Ogun East contains eleven areas of local government: Ijebu North East, Ijebu North,
Ijebu-Ode, Ijebu East, Ikenne, Ipokia, Odogbolu, Obafemi Owode, Remo North, Sagamu and Ogun Waterside.
Senator Kashamu was the vice-president of the
State and Local Government Committee of the Senate.
Senator Buruji Kashamu is gone!
He died today at First Cardiology Consultants, in Lagos, problems as a result of Covid19. Can rest peacefully his gentle soul. I pray for the resilience of his family and loved ones to endure this serious loss.
