2020/21 Champions League group stage: Liverpool, Man Utd, Man City and Chelsea learn fate
The draw has been made for the Champions League group stage in 2020/21 and some fascinating games are set to be on the way in the premier club competition when it gets underway later this month.
Usually, we’d be well into the Champions League campaign but, of course, this season we’re seeing things slightly differently as a congested year sees timings of matches thrown into new spots in the calendar.
For Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea it’s a chance to earn the biggest trophy of them all, though, and they’ll not mind one bit that these games are set to come thick and fast.
The four English sides have discovered who they’re going to be playing in the coming weeks, then, and the draw is as follows below:
Group C:
Porto, Manchester City, Olympiacos, Marseille
Group D:
Liverpool, Ajax, Atalanta, Midtjylland
Group E:
Sevilla, Chelsea, Krasnodar, Rennes
Group H:
PSG, Manchester United, Red Bull Leipzig, Istanbul BK.
